Ton Smits (1921-1981) drew these cards with caricatures of Hitler, Himmler, Goring and Goebbels as a 22-year-old in 1943. For fear of reprisals, the family hid the anti-Hitler cartoons. The Eindhovensch Dagblad published the cards between 1944 and 1946 in a circulation of several hundred thousand. Of all these sold cards, only a few remain, especially as a set with the original binding
